Mike Weaver could have beaten Larry Holmes forty three years ago, because he put Holmes down, but he couldn’t pull it off, because Weaver was down from an uppercut from Holmes and was stopped in the twelfth.
But against John Tate who was unbeaten one punch by Weaver and Tate send to the deck and it was over.
