I literally cried cause I finally found his music again. I was listening to it alone in my apartment for so long last year because of depression. I wanted to forget that feeling and I never expected that i even forget Eli's name and I just remembered some of the lyrics today so I searched for it. I literally cut ties with my friends and all the people I knew from that City cause of a lot of traumatic experience which they don't have any idea. I would sleep all day and take that blue pill to make sure that I sleep like 11 hours sleep. I miss this this music but I think I'm a happy person now.

I'm a 31 year old guy and I've been suffering from depression and suicidal thoughts since I was young, too young to understand, really.
It's been so hard finding anybody who understands. "You'll be ok." "It's just a phase." "You'll get over it."
I hear these things so much and I'm just thinking how I've gotten so much older and none of those things are true. I'm not over anything, I'm not ok.
I hear a lot of "inspirational" songs and I just can't feel those. I can't find hope from them often enough.
But I feel so deeply connected to your lyrics. It's like, I can finally not feel alone in this. Somebody finally gets it.
