Darsh Patel, 22, of Edison, was the first victim of a fatal bear attack on a human in the state since 1852. Authorities say he was killed by the animal at the Apshawa Preserve in Passaic County N.J. The Rutgers University senior was majoring in information technology and informatics.

The 911 operator was his lifeline...he knew it. She minimized in a cold and careless manner. Obviously she was being bred at the time of the call.

I believe that one of the boys died....they accused them of teasing or harassing the bear....which I figured they would.. to defend the bear...they found they boys did no such thing...more of this will happen as the NJ / PA bear population grows.

Man I hate listening to these 911 calls and hear the people trying to tell the operator what’s going on and where to go. Just tell them where to go first before you start explaining everything…
