A man encountered a bear in the wild, and the bear took an interest in the human. It took some bear spray to convince the beast to call off its pursuit.

man, I watched another short of a dude trying to scare off a cougar with a pistol. Two shots, missed, but the cougar was still wanting to pursue. It did run off and neither camera guy of the cougar were injured. But it's stuff like this that keeps me optimistic about carrying hunters mace. As well, the chemical properties of mace make it impossible for predators to pursue or function, after it causes inflammation to the face and eyes from appropriate 'application'. But teaching animals you'll get a face of burning pain if they mess with humans, is the most humane and helpful thing we can do for our wildlife.

I carried “bear spray” to the wildlife park behind our house because we have mountain lions. My grandson had no idea what it was, so we smelled whole peppercorns, then ground some pepper ourselves, then watched this video. It was so great to show him an example of someone calm, prepared, and who kept the animal safe. Thank You!!! 🙏 😊
