The Scope – Alpha Clone Technology Introduced Across New Eden

Alton Haveri reports on the deployment of new Alpha clone technology by the four major powers of New Eden, and the sudden rise in independent capsuleer traffic that the new CONCORD legislation in place to support it has created.

Meanwhile, a splinter group from the Sisters of EVE has come forward with an ominous warning, claiming that the technology was gleaned from research, including the work done on Project Discovery, that has been performed on Drifter technology and clones.

Could someone please explain to me why in the lore eve-developers tell us that the alpha clones are cheap and expendable as toilet paper and in game the first mission tells me that it's a single outstanding and literally exclusive experience granted to me for insanely valuable input into ... ummm... into whatever we're playing in. That doesn't match! Since you tell us in these videos that there are a shitload of alpha clones coming, then you should have do that as well in the first mission!

the new clone state is a joke, the limitations are so severe that any new player wold get bored of the game within 2 3 hours of starting and not actually get a chance to do much of anything.
