Don't forget that later, Set tried to brag to the rest of the gods that he busted in Horus, and "called to it." The river started making noise so it looked like he just jerked it into the Nile by himself. Then Horus did the same and Set's stomach started making noise, so everyone started laughing at Set for a few reasons.

What makes it awkward for Anubis is in some story’s he is a son of set. So hearing his father seducing his cousin is weird.
