This video demonstrates how to make No-Knead Artisan Beer Bread.

One simple recipe with hundreds of options. Simply, by changing the wet ingredient... the beer... from a lager, to an amber, or hefeweizen you can have uniquely flavored bakery quality artisan bread.

Bread making doesn’t get any easier than this… no mixer or bread machine (I’ll make it in a glass bowl with a spoon)… no-kneading (Mother Nature will do the kneading for me). It doesn’t get any easier than this.

1:50 GENIUS. 5 pounds of flour yields 5 loaves of Steve's bread
1 pound flour = 3.5 cups per loaf

I came within an inch of buying an expensive KitchenAid mixer just so I could use a dough hook...only to realize after watching one of Steve's instructionals that my wooden spoon handle IS a dough hook. It works like magic, too, and the dough comes together in no time. Could you imagine being Steve's neighbor? His friends are truly blessed to have him in their lives.

2021-03-21 💗 🍞🥖Steve Gamelin taught me to bake my own bread. I have been making them for almost three years, I mix with dried garlic powder, all kinds of dried herbs, curry, nuts, seeds etc. but also, cinnamon, honey or with extra sugar then you get sugar bread :-) No one makes bread so fast, simpel and much easier as 'Steve from no knead bread'. I thank you a lot Steve😃 Much loaf love from the Netherland

Dear Steve - I tried many of your recipes and this is my absolute favorite! I use our local Genesee beer and mix everything up and let it sit in my cold northern house 18 hours if I can. I don't have the same baking vessel you do - I just use my Pyrex glass bread pan, and bake it 400 degrees for 45-50 minutes and it's absolutely perfect every time. This lasts nearly a week in storage when I use the beer. When I do not use the beer recipe, it seems to get mold much faster so this is why I stick to the beer method. Anyways I totally appreciate your methods and videos over the years. I hope you are well. AL in upstate NY.

Hi Steve thanks for your recipes. Wanted to let you know I live in Florida so putting my oven on when it’s warm outside causes me extra air conditioning. I decided to try it on my grill. Are used my crockpot as I don’t have a fancy bread cooker, covered with foil set it in my grill turned it on till the temp got about 450. About 25 minutes later I have your perfect bread. For anyone that doesn’t want to turn the oven on in the summer time using your grill outside as long as it has a thermometer is the perfect solution.

This is my go-to lazy day bread recipe. I have used just water and also juice for flavor when I don’t have beer. I love how quick and easy it is to make. You can cook it when convenient. I don’t bother with other complicated bread recipes anymore. Before baking I add walnuts and raisins and cinnamon and toast it for breakfast. Yum! Thanks Steve!

So far, this is the third bread of his that I've tried. Artisan, cinnamon raisin and beer bread.
They are all EXCELLENT!!!
Your recipes are easy to follow and seem to all yield a wonderful bread.
I enjoy your videos. You're so calm, clear and precise in your delivery. I was intimidated by the thought of baking bread until I found your channel.

I have 2 beer starters with Guinness and Modelo Negra. I bake with only beer starters, only regular sourdough starter, or mixture of the three. No knead. Even after switching to sourdough starter from yeast, I love watching Steve's video. Always remember his wisdom: bread recipe is "forgiving" :) Thank you very much. Hope you are well.
