Transport Evolution World speaks to Lester Bouah, newly appointed Senior Specialist of Investment Promotion and Aftercare at the World Bank Group’s International Finance Corporation. Lester has 15 plus years’ experience working in the export industry, and during this discussion he highlights some of the plans that the World Bank has for the SADC region and what projects are they currently investing time and money in. As there has been much movement with the African Continental Free Trade Area agreement, Lester also mentions some of the major opportunities for South Africa when it comes to intra-Africa trade and at the same time what challenges we are facing when it comes to non-tariff barriers.
