Swahili is a language that is both historically and geographically linked to the Omani Sultanate in The Zanj (Zanzibar) of East Africa. It's mainly a Bantu language blended with Arabic root words.

Just like you hear people from New Orleans speaking the French language with an extremely thick and heavy Creole accent; the Swahili pronunciation of Arabic words have an African accent.

The reason for that is the Omani Empire from 15th century till the late 1970s and Yemini Immigration. Especially their influence in Zanzar زنجبار

you should do Malay and Lebanese connection. I studied Lebanese and Syrian accents and I kept on noticing similarities.

Great idea replace one colonialist language with another swahilli has 40% arabic lexicom. Africa has many aboriginal languages just choose one thats native to your location, but make sure it's truly native.
