I'll believe it when I see it. And then I'll wait for a year or two to watch it go down in the same way the Concorde did.

The hypeloop will be absolutely fast, safe, cheap, comfortable, and environmental friendly. Not to mention it will generate more energy than it needs. On top of that it's easy to build, that's why Elon Musk is letting students build it. "It's not that hard."
Why does that sound like a scam? 🤣

that tunnel is not under vacuum. Go watch some videos of vacuums getting punctured.

Then take some time to learn about hot and cold distorting metal. one bullet would implode the entire fucking tube. So you can probably skip that learning physics part.

Call me crazy, but I do get suspicious when I can hear a train passing by in a vacuum ;)

All mechanical things malfunction once in a while. Automobiles breakdown, ships sink, and airplanes crash. What's the rescue plan here? If a hyperloop pod breaks down, you're stuck in an airless tube. Sounds like the rescue could be tougher than getting to miners in a mine collapse situation. Or possibly like rescuing those Thai kids from an underwater cave where they had to relay scuba tanks into them.

This is stupid. Just get mag- trains already. This is far too complicated to be considered safe.
