정부 "'한국판 뉴딜' 디지털기반 일자리창출 프로젝트 추진"

Let's begin with South Korea's big plans for the country post-COVID-19.
It's being called the Korean 'New Deal', and it will focus on the digitalizing the economy to keep pace with the ever-changing world.
Let's take a look at what a senior finance ministry official said on the matter this morning during an emergency economic council meeting.
"The South Korean government will carry out a Korean version of the 'New Deal' that focuses on creating a sustainable job market and speeding up the digitalization of the economy. The 'New Deal' project will include innovation in the following three sectors: building digital infrastructure, fostering non-contact industries for the post-COVID-19 era, and a smart management system for roads and railways."
The government says it will speed up large-scale innovation projects based on the country's strengths such as ICT,... and come up with results in two to three years.
The government plans to announce concrete measures for the "New Deal" project next month.
