Fun Fact: In "Earworm" the song that is stuck in SpongeBob's head ("Musical Doodle") and the band that made the song ("The Sonars") both exist in real life. You can listen to the song yourself.

One of the darkest episodes in my opinion was when SpongeBob found a spoiled krabu pattie and he took a bite to show mr krabs that it isn't spoiled then he started getting delusional and started seeing a masive hamster(that had a very creepy face tho). After that he started playing with it until Patrick told him that there isn't anything next to SpongeBob when he wanted to present him. Then, SpongeBob lost the effects of the kraby pattie, the hamster disappeared and he realised that he was seeing him because of the spoiled pattie. He gave spoiled pattie to everyone so they can all see him but then the hamster started eating them. The representation was even more dark than the story

Spongebob did feel guilty about the health inspector. He went nuts, sobbing at the guy's grave before they left.

The fact that Mr Krabs seemed more annoyed than scared about burying the corpse of the health inspector, shows that he was used to this. Plus, he fought wars in the past, so it explains a lot as well.

As a huge Spongebob Squarepants fan this is actually disturbing. I thought "Earworm" was just a normal episode but i wasnt. Makes sense why there is a song that says "music makes you lose control" maybe they were trying to tell us something in that episode.but we didn't notice

Dark recapies in spongebob 1.chum is made out of real fish so some fishes that eat the chum is now a caniball 2.krabby patty was made out of crabs so thats why mr crab wouldn't let Plankton see the formula (i don't have any more)
