Dude. I don't know what exactly it is, but something in this video made it click. I've been using (copying) promises for so long and just hoping they would work, but now I get it. Half way through this video I opened up a replit file and played around with resolving/rejecting a promise using a random number generator, and it JUST MAKES SENSE SUDDENLY.
Thank you so much. I'm going to have to credit you with my being able to pass the class I'm in.
