Is your dog training realistic?

All too often on social media we see perfect Dog training videos done in extremely controlled situations. These videos can look very impressive however they are quite unrealistic as to what most people need out of their Dog.

What we want out of our dogs is a dog that comes back to us on the beach, at a dog park, walks past dogs nicely and a lot more.

Try not to get caught up in the fancy things that aren’t going to help you in real world situations. This video gives you some tips on working your recall and reminding you to train in some chaos sometimes.

Ah, great reminder to not use calling their name as meaning come. I'm guilty of doing that sometimes. I will try to not do this again.

Me, I tend to have a 1 second gap between the name and the command.
I want my dog to not confuse the name / command as a single
eg: Nashstay... Nashcome....

I do... come 😊
