Jason and Argonauts; Talos

From one of my favorite films of my youth “Jason and the Argonauts”. This clip of an angry giant brass titan, Talos, comes to life after Jason’s men breaks into his stronghold and steals some of its contents. Instructed by the goddess Hera on how to defeat the giant bronze behemoth, Jason has to “uncork” his heel, which drains out the Titans life blood.

Great Ray Harryhausen stop motion photography from the 1960s made this a really cool scene for a 10-year-old kid watching a Saturday matinee.
