this one was very easy to install. the motor fit perfectly but the esc wasn't quite perfect. it worked out really good then because we just zip tied the esc to the pad, going through the holes on the side. in the end it only took about 5-10 minutes to install and was definitely worth it!

What kv on that motor? Just curious I just bought the 3800 motor and esc and i put it on my helion criterion and its super powerful! I would love to get this for my stampede xl5 4wd as well :)

How easy is this to install? Also does the ESC have voltage cutoff for lipo batteries like the stock XL-5 speed controller? I am seriously considering this motor/esc combo... that or the Hobbywing one.
