Longest Road In The World | PAN American Highway #shorts

Do you know what the longest road in the world is? It's the Pan-American Highway. The journey starts in Alaska, USA. The road then crosses Canada, going through the Western provinces. It continues south through the entire USA, covering many states from north to south. After that, it enters Mexico.
Next, the route takes you through Central America. You start with Guatemala, then move on to El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, and finally reach Panama. However, the highway is interrupted by the Darian Gap, a dense jungle region. You can't cross this gap with normal transportation, needing special vehicles or alternate methods.
Upon reaching South America, the journey continues through Colombia, crossing the Andean mountain range. It then goes to Ecuador, crosses the highlands and coastal areas of Peru, and proceeds along the length of Chile, which runs parallel to the Andes. Finally, it ends at the southernmost tip of Argentina, near Tierra del Fuego. Despite the break at the Darien Gap, the Guinness World Records lists this as the longest road, with a total length of about 19,000 miles.

Can't they use a ferry to connect Panama to Colombia? Or build a train tunnel under the Darien Gap that can carry cars and trucks like the Eurotunnel?

If it stops at the Darien Gap, then that's as far as it goes. You can't just say it stops for 50 miles, then picks back up.

If so, I know the twice longer road. It starts in Lisbon, Portugal then comes eastward to Chukotka, Russia, then a little gap to Alaska and southward to Chile
