I'm from South America and i new the moment you reach Panamá, there was no way in HELL you could put a "road" through The Darién Gap😂.

British citizen George Meegan was the first person ever to walk the full length of this road. It took him 2462 days, starting in 1977 and finishing in 1983. He passed away in Jan 2024 at age 71.
