I search an area that the city dumps their snow @ . Everything is shallow so I can run recovery speed up to about 5. It's all clad stuff but, it helps me
learn the machine. If it's not more than 3-4"s, run recovery up & wade through the trash.

The "sweet spot" depends highly on your swing speed. Guess that's why they make it adjustable?

Great video! I primarily beach hunt in summer. Could you explain how you would run either FE or F2 and at what setting? I run recovery at 6 mostly. Would you run all metal and if so, what settings. Thanks

I'm thinking about getting the 800 or a AT MAX? But I'm only looking for civil war artifacts down in Georgia. I haven't hunted in years and I want a machine that will find deep targets as well.
