Apple is a business. They find they can overprice things if they polish it up pretty and present it well. It's literally the difference between buying a polished apple or a regular organic one. Then it is marketed towards the majority of the population who aren't techies. Genius business model if you ask me.

Hello, I'm an Apple computer in an Apple advertisement trying to convince you to buy me. I'm obviously a biased source of information. You can call me Mac.

And I'm a Windows computer who's being paid lots of money by Apple to intentionally demoralize myself. They call me PC, even though that stands for Personal Computer. Therefore we're both PCs, unless I run Windows Server, in which case I'm not a PC.

Mac: If you buy me, I will come with several built-in features out of the box for no extra charge.

PC: If you buy me, you will need to buy those extra features separately. But what Mac conveniently forgot to mention is that the total amount of money spent on my behalf will likely be less than the cost of a single Apple package.

Mac: I have a power cord that's held in place magnetically. If someone trips over my cable, I won't fall off the desk. The charger will seamlessly detach itself from me.

PC: I actually like that idea. Why don't I have that?

Mac: Because if you did, I'd sue you for plagiarism. Then I'd use the money from the lawsuit to buy a monopoly on the next generation's market of good ideas.

PC: I hate vicious cycles. Except when they work in my favor.

Mac: You don't want this loser. I'm your only other option.

PC: That's not true. We're not the only two operating systems. Linux just doesn't need these childish advertisements because her quality speaks for itself to customers with brains.

There are butthurt people on both sides. Android fans are just as annoying as Apple fans. It's the same with PlayStation and Xbox. It will ALWAYS be this way. Why people care SO MUCH about defending what they buy on the internet is beyond me. I say just buy whatever the heck you want and enjoy it.

Apple is hilarious.  Did you know Apple didn't invent the mouse?  Xerox did!  Xerox invented the computer mouse, invited Steves Jobs over to check it out, then stole the idea and started bundling all their Macs with mice and says he revolutionized the personal computer!

Then Microsoft steals MacOS's design, makes Windows, and then Steve Jobs bitches that Microsoft stole his design?  SCREW YOU  You invented  You just know how to sell products that look nice for a higher price!
