if something's the most bought thing on Amazon it's either because A: It's an excellent product with an amazing reputation or B: cheap

I've had this keyboard for 3 years now. I've thrown it into my backpack and taken it to school, I've slammed my hands into it raging at games, I've cracked it's frame in a way I don't even know (probably being in a backpack). But one think is for sure is that the K552 Kumara is a fucking trooper. This is hands down the best budget keyboard EVER. Yes, blue keys are loud as fuck but you know what you're getting into. 11/10, built like an AK-47

Besides the board's metallic kind of ping sound when keys are pressed and the sort of obnoxious font on the keys, it's a phenomenal mechanical keyboard. The fact that you can hot swap the switches is huge. Whoever designed this thing knew how to make the cheapest, most solid mechanical keyboard possible. $35 is an insane price.

i've had a membrane keyboard my whole life, now i'm upgrading to blue switches because i want to be that one guy in the call with their mic on but never talks, and just button mashes the entire time, i basically, want to see the world burn.

Ugly 'gaming' fonts are like the Comic Sans of keyboards.

I like how Betty adapted her terminology to better fit the likely buyers of this keyboard, which would be newcomers to the mechanical keyboard world.

Very well produced video!
I appreciate the camera angle at 1:00 in. Gives a better representation if what you would see unboxing it yourself.

"Don't let anyone switch-shame you." 🗣 A LITTLE LOUDER FOR THOSE IN THE BACK!

When I bought my first keyboard I wanted the cheapest one possible, I went for the blue switches and I didn’t even understand what they were at that time and honestly it is the most obnoxiously loud keyboard in the world.

I love how you're explaining the basic mechanical keyboard jargon that freshies might not understand. It's a very nice addition when reviewing a keyboard that beginners would want to see information on.

I have one of these with browns. LOVE IT. I did take apart each key and lube it and it's 10x better than it was stock. Very linear, a bit quieter but it sounds great, and it reduced the spring noise to just about zero. Highly recommend lubing the switches if you have one of these, it's a game changer.

I used this keyboard for about 6 years, the only issue i have had is after extensive use the 0 key would sometimes double click. I can attest to the spill resistance of this keyboard since once I spilled a lot on it and after drying it off it worked just fine. As a budget keyboard this thing is absolutely worth it.

I love how she tested the keyboard for a few weeks before giving the full review

Edit: wow, I’ve never had this many likes! Thanks everyone!

3:40 it’s the least secure element on the underside of the body. I was bored and desoldered each switch one by one to make it a true hot swap and painted the plate/case & that branding came off FIRST haha 😊 I’m sure you already tore it apart but the body is actually quite nice. I recommend anyone paint it it’s really really good with acrylic
