We really need side-by-side comparisons. How do they look next to each other? How do they each pull from 0-60, etc. These will make the reviews awesome.

I like the looks and technology of the KIA but I tend to keep my cars for over 10 years so I would probably buy the Honda based on reputation and resell value.

I bought the 2023 Kia Sportage EX in December 2022 and I still get happy getting into it. It was honestly the best decision and only paid a little under 27k. The trunk space is surprisingly wide and the interior sold me, especially the huge dash screen!

The Hondas often look pretty conservative in styling (a.k.a. boring) and maintain that for years. This particular style of CR-V already looks dated in my opinion. lol
I think the Sportage will still look good for years to come .... it's why I'm buying one. lol

The resale values on CRV’s and Rav 4 are out of this world. Definitely not cheap but in the end run you get what you pay for. Kia and Hyundai sure gives you initial bang for the buck but with their numerous reliability and dealership experience issues you are gambling and the odds suck. My choice out the two would be the Honda but if it was my money I’d get the RDX. Worth every penny.

The Sportage seems the better option in this case, especially considering the price.

If I were to spend that much money on one of these I’d go the Kia as I like it’s exterior and interior design better and you can more for your money with the Kia in my eyes

I think Sportage for an value and love the interior design . CRV is too pricey, missing the features, but love exterior design. Great video Andrea! ☕️☕️👍🏻👍🏻

Thanks for the review! Me, myself and I just approve of the MIA/Hyundai brand no matter how good the reviews are.😏

I own a 2023 Kia Sportage Hybrid.... the hybrid is the one to get. Far superior to the gas only engines. Quieter and way better mileage. I owned a 2018 CRV and the Sportage is much nicer.

I hope buyers vote with their wallet so that Honda gets a much needed wake up call. The competition is better equipped, more premium, more reliable while being cheaper.

Your videos have made me someone who actually cares about cars! ha! Still not sure what my next one will be whenever I can buy one, but I watch your videos and now I notice things about cars on the road I never cared about before. ha! Plus you two are just adorable to watch!

Thank you for this Zack and Andrea! My money is definitely on the Sportage! Honda is slacking and it shows with interior features. And I like how Sportage has many options with exterior/interior colors
and engine powertrains. I wouldn't be satisfied with the CR-V. I will feel cheated knowing I can get more for the money without feeling like I'm driving something basic. The Honda CR-V is borderline basic. I'm not basic and I don't want to drive a basic vehicle.

I didn't drive the Sportage yet but I drove the 2020 Accord and CRV for months, both with the 1, 5 l and CVT configuration and it's a world of difference. I don't like CVT's because it is a lazy transmission but it's worst in the CRV. It is slow and sluggish and the 1, 5 l is noisy (not as in the RAV4 !!) and not enough powerful when the family is on board. The CRV would definitely be better served with the Accord 2, 0 l and the 10 speed transmission. The 2023 CRV is very similar to the previous version (no more panoramic sunroof) but it's much more expensive. So why not going to the Sportage ?

Hi Andrea, I'm Kia biassed as always given I'll be making a decision on my next Kia lease car in February. However, both of these cars in your review tonight are both stylish and capable cars. Interias are very good too.

I just wish I didn't have to pony up $40K for the Bose sound system in the CRV. The base speakers are a deal-breaker

Thank you for the comparison. It looks like the Sportage has flat floor with rear seats folded. That's pretty important for impromptu camping.

Immediate thumbs up for shutting down the (uninformed) pronunciation police.
