This is the best version of this movie. I've seen a couple with different music than this. Music complements the story. I saw one version without any music at all. Truly a silent movie!

This is in my pioneers of African American cinema Box set. The original version of the film is lost. The only know surviving version is the edited version, by Oscar. Which is such a the original is lost. I really love this film.
