Activity Specific Balance Confidence Scale

This is a great outcome measure to use to measure our patient’s confidence in their abilities and how they feel our interventions are impacting them in the real world with daily activities! Helps us to assess balance and the impact their condition has on their daily life as a patient reported outcome. Generally more of an outpatient based measure but can be used anywhere.

Equipment: Print sheet, pen
Time: ~ 5 minutes
Instructions: Patient fills out sheet on their own. Average their responses, those that are not answered are generally scored 0.
General Cutoff: Less than 67% indicates a fall risk
