The credibility of the Bible is not based on the pope. The OT canon was closed long before the councils of the church. The NT canon was likewise understood by the early Christian. Church councils did not decide on the Bible, rather, they added spurious books (Apocrypha) to it to support questionable theology.

We have no evidence Enoch ever wrote a book. There would be no need for writing to retain information among the antediluvian race. Their longevity and superior minds enabled them to retain and recall information more readily than us.

Jasher and Jubilees are also mentioned in scripture to go reference..but those books have fallen out of use due to people saying "you should not read them or you're going to hell". Well GOD will not fall off his throne if you go read those books. Just Google the names and read them online.

Sure. No one is saying a book by that name does not exist. There is just no evidence that it was written by Enoch.

You will find the "Book of Enoch" on Google. That book is a spurious writing which appeared in the 3rd century BC and it was written in Jewish-Aramaic. Only the Ethyopian Church added that book in the Canon, claiming that the Ethiopian version was originally written by Enoch in Ethiopian, which is the original language of humanity, bla-bla. It is interesting to read the book, probably it was also read by Jews in the apostolic times, but it is simply fiction mixed with apocalyptic motives.

I would agree they had longevity..scripture teaches that...but there is no evidence they had any better ability to retain knowledge in their brains than WE do today..To claim they had superior minds..is incorrect. :)
