The COVID-19 pandemic has disproportionately impacted communities of colour, and has resulted in multifaceted health disparities in the United States and around the world. In particular, Black and Asian communities are experiencing the brunt of systemic racism, from prejudiced discourse to comparatively undersupplied hospital facilities. In addition, prisons and ICE facilities remain unaddressed in COVID health precautions. In this webinar, Dr. Zinzi Bailey comments on the need for inclusive political innovation to combat these inequities, and Professor Nicholas B. King enquires on the nuances of these disparities.
