Never got to the point. It's not about unemployment rate comparison. Black workers are in jobs that are putting those now considered essential in danger. Workers of warehouses, factories, grocery stores, food plants, hospitals (other than doctors and nurses), public transit workers, etc. aren't working safely at home or up in the front office with the door closed. They are shoulder-to-shoulder doing a job in unsafe conditions that many times could be arranged to be safer. They must risk it to pay next month's rent and feed their families. As usual, the risk is disproportionate therefore the infection rate is disproportionate.
