PM Lee Hsien Loong on meritocracy at the Debate on the President's Address 2018

At the Debate on the President’s Address on 16 May 2018, Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong emphasised the need to share growth widely and equitably, to improve the lives of all Singaporeans. PM Lee also shared his hope that the Singapore society would maintain an informal and egalitarian tone, where people interact freely and comfortably as equals with no rigid class distinctions or barriers.
