Modders are what make these games.
Relatable on the username bit. I remember meeting one guy, asked his name and he gave me his handle. Next time I'm bringing a cape.

Awesome of you to do this interview, quality modders like him deserve all the recognition and appreciation.

Fantastic stuff, Cody. I love that instead of just talking about a mod you brought the creator on and let them speak about their passion and creativity. It was also clear that you did your research before asking your questions; these are the mark of a great creator and I can't wait to see the channel grow!

As for the modders I would love to hear from here is a small list:

Maruka best known for the essencial GCCM mod.

Mixu guy who made the LL lord series and the unlocker.

Crynsos granddaddy of modding.

Cataph second grandaddy of modding.

Vandy another old scool modder.

Shawmuscle another great modder who makes custom models as ChaosRobie.

Decomposed Expanded Roster creator and recently made the Snottrom Riders (Snotling poop riders)

Xoudad creator of the Sons of Asuryan and Sword of the Emperor mods. I cannot play High Elves or the Empire without these mods respectfully.

Venris last but certainly not least the SFO magus.

Modding gods forgive me if I missed someone.

It's really cool ChaosRobbie devotes a large portion of his time implementing these models in an archaic, out dated process since CA won't provide proper tools. Thanks for interviewing him Cody, this isn't something I would've asked for but I definitely enjoyed it.

This man got introduced to Warhammer, played this for only a few months, and then went "ya know what, imma become a main figurehead of the modding community." Madlad

I love that when explaining where the models came from he basically said "yeah we just cut and mashed existing unit models together" because that's EXACTLY how a lot of these obscure units came into existence on the tabletop. Editing models in 3DS Max is the new Kitbash, lol

Man this is sick. I’ve been thinking about getting a gaming PC but honestly this just seals the deal. People are just so creative.

If you’re looking for an amazing mod, try out upgrade units. It allows units like empire swordsmen or dwarf warriors to be upgraded into great swords or longbeards respectively when they reach a certain number of chevrons. This frees up some building slots you might have otherwise needed and also prevents those early game units with tons of xp from becoming obsolete because you can turn them into superior units. If it sounds a bit overpowered, don’t worry, there are limitations. Your army needs to be in a city, it costs between 300-600 gold, and your upgraded unit starts at 25% health and needs to replenish, so it’s not just a instant buff. There’s a sub of that allows lizardmen units to be upgraded into blessed versions as well.

The Landship looks like the Empire attempted to recreate a Steam Tank and somehow made something even bigger by accident. Just another day in the Empire.

I was suddenly overcome by sadness, because only now did I notice that Cody Bonds sounds a lot like, Iceycat in the siege community. Rest his Soul. But great interview man!
