Note, most side affects fade with time. I've had all of these when starting. Now I only have low libido and weight gain that were all fixed by adding wellbutrin.

Last night I took 10 MG, since it said it can make you feel drowsy, I didn’t want to be sleepy at work. After about 5 hours, it made me high as a kite, I got very dizzy, felt very nauseous which caused me to lay down. Out of NOWHERE my testicles felt ICE COLD, and then I started sweating as if I had just ran a marathon. Today I had to call out of work because my anxiety has been amplified by 50X! I’m not taking these ever again, I threw the pills in the trash. This has been a horrible experience, idk how anyone can function using this stuff.

Lexapro started working immediately within the second dose, and the side effects stopped after 2 days. What does this mean. I am still feeling good when I take it, I’ve never felt like this in my life. I’m 24 now and have been dealing with depression and anxiety since I was probably 7.

How long does it take to become active in the body though? Like in how many hours does the drug’s mechanism of action take? I keep trying to search this but I can’t find any answers. I have bad allergic reactions to some medications so I have to know just in case so I can plan for it if that occurs.

Lexapro fucking near killed me, i went on Lexapro due to generalised anxiety disorder which was uncomfortable but manageable, 3 days into 10mg of Lexapro per day i went into a state of non stop 24/7 hell level anxiety and permanent panic attacks, even xanax and ativan wouldn't touch the anxiety and panic, i was so close to suicide it was the most terrible thing ive ever experienced. I stopped taking the lexapro after 8 days and within 36 hours the panic attack stopped and my anxiety subsided again, no way am i ever taking ssri's again.

Then explain this I took one 10mg Lexapro last night went to sleep had a nightmare of some evil thing holding me down and I woke up and I could not get up and I can still feel that evil thing holding me down off of 1 10 mg Lexapro

Don't take a ssri unless absolutely necessary smoke weed or delta 8 instead
