The winners of the 2019 tve Global Sustainability Film Awards were announced at a gala event on the evening of 18 November at The May Fair Hotel in London hosted by LBC News presenter, Lisa Aziz. The Founder’s Award for Sustainability on the Big Screen went to ‘Woman at War,’ directed and produced by Benedikt Erlingsson and also produced by Marianne Slot and Carine Leblanc. This Award celebrates feature films that powerfully address the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SGDs). This Award was launched two years ago by Surina Narula MBE, who founded the entire tve Global Sustainability Film Awards in 2012.
