"Understanding Compliance and Records Management in Office 365"
8/23/18

We’d like to tell you a little story. A story of redemption, honor, and finishing what you start. Oh who are we kidding we’re just setting you up for another webinar. Just go with us for a second…

A few month’s back, we welcomed a new friend to the webinar series. This friend did an amazing job on their session. So good a job that before the session was even done, our dear webinar patrons were clamoring for this friend to come back. Well boys and girls, it's party time.

The world of SharePoint compliance and records management has become more complex. Various solutions, such as on-premises, hybrid, and Office 365 all present different execution options for your organization. Whether your organization is new to Office 365 or has been around the block a few times, it’s important to understand as early as possible how the process of managing records in a cloud-based environment is very different from on-premises platforms. In this session, Erica will review the compliance features in Office 365, including Advanced Data Governance, Labels, Retention Policies, and Azure Information Protection. We will then compare these features against common records management and compliance business requirements to see how they stack up.

Bottom line, this is one record to file under awesome!

While this session is geared towards those with an intermediate understanding of SharePoint & Office 365, we encourage all comers to attend this session.

Great Video - I noticed that there is a permanent deletion but what about records that need to go to National Archives?

thanks for the vid! Once the retention label has been applied to a document library, why does it LOCK the documents. No more editing of docs. why?
