What I find odd is countries are supposedly wanting to get away from ICE vehicles for the good of the environment, the sooner the better.
Why then are they blocking the superior technology of the Chinese, especially NIO's winning business model in battery swap. It is obvious battery swap is the way to go, yet they slam high tariffs on foreign EV's.
Thus delaying the uptake until American and European technology catches up, but they are a decade behind!
One of these days a major Manufacturer will do the deal with NIO and the authority blocked floodgates will open.
