Hello and welcome to my channel. In today's video were turning some beautiful up-cycled red oak and black walnut into a large brick pattern bowl. The bowl is about 12x5 inches tall or about 30.5x14cm. Thank you to Andy and Stephanie for the red oak donation; that piece was a bit suspect at first but you can never judge a piece of wood by how it looks aged and gray. It produced some awesome red oak lumber. How you like the video?

Below are some links to other Sapper Woodworking videos that feature the initial steps in making the segmented rings; through the glue up phase where this video starts.

Mate, that's beautiful, just the sort of thing I'd like to make once my lathe is up and running. Baby steps first, of course !!!
