Wood Turning Very Mini Brick Vase

After watching one of my small segmented turnings my friend Rav from Poland thought it would be fun for both of us to make a Very Mini Segmented Vase.
This is more than just a wood turning video.
As we started the idea the Coronavirus started happening. So we thought a long time on a title for the video and Rav came up with this.
COVID 19 has hit us all and this is our way of showing Unity.

This is not a contest between us but rather a sign of brotherhood.

WOW Gary, that's one stunning piece of segmented artwork.
Who said "size is everything?", it certainly is with this piece - just right to tell a story. Without a doubt, the choice and collaboration of the woods used truly sing in harmony with one another. I've always been an advocate of enough coats of lacquer to emphasize and protect the wood. Your ethic of 10 coats of lacquer are proof they were just enough after polishing and buffing to really make that piece bling.

I have watched this video a few times now Gary before making a comment which I think will be bigger than the vase. I am stunned by the size of this piece for a segmented turning. I just did not understand how one could handle such small pieces segmented. I know my hands would never have coped with the size of the segments.
