The Denver Police Department sent its recruits out into the community on Friday for some cleanup work.

Did they teach them:
* civil rights, and to never ever abuse people's rights
* to know the law, especially the law they purport to be enforcing
* to be polite and informative with the public
* to always obey the law
* to investigate before making assumptions
* to be unbiased and not believe the first story they hear
* de-escalation, and to always prefer
* to not let their moods harm people
* total and complete honesty
* to keep their noses out of people's business when there is no reasonable articulable suspicion (RAS) of a crime being committed by those people
* to have patience, a lot of it
