I'm not surprised that you've seen a lot of demand for this video. I think that for a lot of people who already have IT experience under their belt, this WGU degree is the most efficient path to furthering their career if they don't have a previous bachelor's degree.

This is definitely my Degree plan and I hadn’t even watched the video until now.

I’m a full time Cybersecurity instructor/technical writer for the government, making six figures in a LCOLA, but for paybumps and marketability, a basic ITM degree that can be knocked out while gaining real world experience is definitely beneficial imo.

Josh, I love you! I'm changing careers and never got a degree. I just need the degree checkmark and this helps me do that! Thank you so much for making this transition so easy. I thought I'd be stuck in my current job for at least another 2 years.

I was just brainstorming if working in the gig economy can satisfy the customer service requirement/preference in entry-level jobs in IT. It kind of makes sense we interact with customers all the time and receive feedback from them whether it's ratings or comments.

I love the video josh, this really broke it down into a much more manageable goal

Please keep in mind no matter how fast you go through modules you can only do 2 proctored exams a month... so to get enough credits from scratch it will still take you at least a year or so.

Thank you for the content! I'm 38, 3 kids, and have a background in retail management. I have a bachelors in general studies. I want to career change and get into IT. Thinking of this degree, Decided against masters degrees in IT didn't provide the basics knowledge I need to learn.

I was dead at 7:53! Used that same reddit page to accelerate through that class. That was always my strategy, using the reddit threads about each class. Typically I would look at the beginning of the term to figure out which classes would be the hardest and how to pace the term. Reddit saved me a lot of trouble more than a few times.

I've been looking at this degree and the data management from someone who has an associate's in medical and very basic front end coding. Then go back for certifications second degree or masters.

Still weighing options but thank you for another great video 🤜🤛😊

Stressed out Healthcare work with associates in medical science. Currently left hospital to work pharmacy thinking it would be better or less stressful and it's WORSE. Looking for other career alternatives. Self employed for 8 years marketing x travel. But when corona hit my company went bankrupt in January.

Looking for a new career. I'm already naturally a tech geek. Use to build computers from scratch with my dad "my punishment". Don't want to interact with people on a basis anymore. Super introvert now.
I have great communication skills, just don't wish to deal with people directly on a consistent basis that are often disrespectful.

I plan to do this and hit it straight on.
Need a new career NOW.

This was helpful thanks.

Make a vid about the job opportunities and roles one can land after getting the ITM degree? Salaries, remote Opportunities, etc

Now i feel like i should switch to this and then maybe get the certs on my own because it alleviates so much pressure to pass the cert exams and you only get so much attempts with them. talking specifically about the cyber bachelors

You are my hero, thank you! You explained things clearly, visually, and in a very practical way.

Ill report back when I start and complete the general classes. I only have one credit to transfer lol. I work 30-40 weeks and don't have kids or anything. 6 months is the goal! I'm going to pay for the course myself and don't want to take any loans etc.

It's all very good and encouraging to see and hear about people who did their degrees super fast (eg. the guy who claims to have done his Cyber Security in just 7 months).

But to me as someone who is in the 3rd year of the 4 yr timeframe, sometimes it feels depressing to be seeing and hearing others bragging about their super speed accomplishment.

I can't just simply go back in time to redo my classes
