Horse Shelter Heroes | S2E16 | Full Episode

In this special auction rescue episode of Horse Shelter Heroes, the team rescues 29 precious lives out of the slaughter pipeline! There were 27 purchased at the auction, then the next morning 2 sad little critters were left behind and the heroes were able to save them too.

But that’s not all that happened, the previous auction horses were moved out of quarantine and down to the adoption part of our facility, a mysterious building was delivered to us, and a lot more! You won’t want to miss a second of this episode of Horse Shelter Heroes!

I actually am proud to say that I rescued my own OTTB and I love him so much. He’s a big baby but I can definitely tell he was mistreated before I got him. I’m trying to rebuild his muscle and make him as healthy and happy as he can be. He is spoiled rotten and I’m so glad that he ended up with us. He is a blessing to my family.

Watch all your videos from here in the UK, never fail to be shocked at the appalling condition you find horses in at the auction. How the heinous 'sport' of the Big Lick is not banned in the US due to the barbaric cruelty just stuns me, there is no way that vile exhibition of abuse would be practised here. You guys are absolute heroes, saving all these precious souls from a horrific journey to a brutal death brings me to tears. ❤❤❤❤❤

This is so heartwarming. It’s brutal and honest but it’s also heartwarming because there were so many horses rescued! The ones that were put down where put down in a safe, happy place where they were loved even if only for a couple hours. It’s the small things that count!
