The wake up call was at D23. When barely anyone showed up to watch the marvels trailer and meet and greet brie. It looked like there was 20-30 ppl. This is what you get when you treat everyone like they're beneath you. Ooh yeah and call the majority of your audience ists and phobes. I have zero sympathy for brie. We all know the real reasons cap. marvel made a billion $$$. It was sandwiched between infinity war and end game. Also theater managers came out and said 500 to 600 seats were bought and never claimed.

Captain Marvel made money because it was sandwiched between two more successful Avengers movies and MCU fans around the world felt obligated to see it, so they don't want to miss anything that could be important. Nick Fury made that film bearable. VFX was good. The protagonist was an unlikeable misandrist.
