This is great; as someone who produces a show and sometimes need a holiday; being able to send ONE folder to anyone around the world is a very clean solution. I'm shocked there's no one click export all button in OBS.

i mite be getting a gaming computer and I was so bummed WHEN I saw that I couldn't transfer OBS because it was an app so when i saw this video i was happy!!!

Any chance you know how to do this exact same thing with MacOS? I need to be able to work on OBS (and stream with OBS) from two separate MacBooks on different days of the week (in-office vs at-home) and I need all my changes to sync across google Backup & Sync. Please help!

Question: I seem to have a problem that changes I made in portable mode will not be stored. So when I restart portable mode al changes are gone. Any suggestions?

I love this possibility so I don't have to work on one computer all the time, but I have a question. If I work in portable mode on a second computer, how would I transfer scene/source updates/changes back to my original computer? Thanks and keep em coming!

I think this only works for Windows to Windows OBS, you need a different install for Mac so manually importing scenes and settings will have to do for now :(

Hey Dude, thanks for another great video. i did everything like your said and it works. I can open a portable instance of obs with a copy of obs-studio from %appdata% but some how the stream desk is not working with when i want to switch scenes. it works when i close the portable version and start the "installed" version on my pc. any tips and tricks? thanks so much and keep creating awesome content.

This is perfect. Question: If i create a scene on one PC in portable mode, is there a way to backup and move that scene to my production PC and import it?

Hello, we have a twitch channel where different people (with different computers) can potentially stream, and I would like them to have the same scene collections.
My only problem is that they have different video devices (webcam and game capture), can I set obs so that they don’t have to re-set the devices on the sources everytime they update the scene collection?
Also I make them have obs in the exact same path on their computers, so assets are never a problem, the only problems are the input devices
