In mine it's supported but they say it's been turned of temporarily to save battery, so that means I can only get it when used while plugged in

So I just want to make sure, if i have auto hdr on. when I play games, it will turn on HDR and for example when i alt tab it is going to be SDR right?

turning it off doesnt do anything, keep reactivating when i start a game
