ITT: A lot of people have played Batman Revenge of the Joker for SNES despite the fact that it was never actually released.

Fun fact: the SNES and NES use the exact same control input circuitry. That is, you can actually take an NES controller, splice its wires into the corresponding wires on the plug of an SNES controller, and it will function on an SNES. Obviously within the limits of the buttons on an NES controller, but the SNES can read it and interact with it.

Here's the fun fact though: the SNES will read the NES controller's A and B buttons as the B and Y respectively of an SNES pad. That means that the SNES Ninja Gaidan trilogy had to be *explicitly programmed* to read the buttons incorrectly.

The best version of Battletoads true sequel: Battletoads & Double Dragon was the NES version. It used the same game engine as the original, which just felt way more satisfying and smooth than all its later ports (including to the SNES).

Battlemaniacs was much easier than NES Battletoads and had way better cartoony graphics, but I still prefer the original.

You forgot to add Battletoads vs Double Dragon, the NES version was so much more fun and fluid to play, and the sountrack was amazing and rocky on NES

I actually prefer the SNES version of Battletoads over the NES version. Soundtrack is pretty good, too.

What happened with Tecmo in the 16-bit era? They had so many great games on the NES (Ninja Gaiden, Rygar, Tecmo Super Bowl, Solomon's Key, Star Force, etc.), and then did but basically make ports for the SNES.

3:10 Dude, do you know HOW MANY people I have told that exact same thing about it being a remake and getting the reply back "NO IT'S NOT!" Thank you for putting it out there as well and after playing Battletoads in Battlemaniacs for the past 25 yrs I STILL can't get past that turbo tunnel stage, the last segment is insane.
