If y’all got the Canon R6 I feel like it would be a lot easier to have clear zoomed in shots. Also would allow for clearer over all shots.

I just wish it was a bit closer to the 33 MP of another camera. I definitely don’t care about 45, but 24 is a smidge low, as I love zooming in on stuff in my images, and also doing a poor man’s 600 mm, by shooting at 400 and cropping in, all while saving 5 grand or more. Do that at 24 and you’re left with noticeable loss in resolution.

I want to know how light the camera and lens are. Watching this guy talk with his hands wasn't the issue that grabbed my attention. Doing it while waving the setup in his right hand like it was a feather DID grab my attention. I own a 5D mark 2, and have 3 lenses Tamron 28 to75, Canon to 30, and aTamron 150-600 g2. I cannot use any of these without an extremely firm grip, a neck strap and a monopod or tripod for the 150 to 600 lens!! Either the camera/ lens combo is a plastic display fake or this guy is a superhero !! If he is using the REAL camera and lens, then it would be logical to surmise that the materials to make the camera and lens are an extremely light carbon fiber or plastic. My 5d mark 2 is a metal alloy and while lightweight just to pick up, when using the camera, it is fairly heavy, and with the lenses I own, they only add to the weight . I haven't had time to research this camera yet, but I will. I plan to make the move to mirrorless and all of my lenses will adapt to the new RF mount of the camera. I am looking forward to the NO limit on video recording time ( except for the memory card capacity). My 5d2 has to be set for 640x480 to record for up to 30 minutes. The quality sucks at this setting!! I am in no rush so I can wait to see what Canon brings in 2023!!

Canon really needs a street camera. These set ups are way too big for street. A canon version of the X100/Xe-4 series or Sony Rx1R would be a dream.

I can't seem to have fast autofocus while in video mode. I use rf35mm 1.8. Can anyone help ?
