Russia's New Iskander 1000 Ballistic Missile Poses A Threat to Ukrainian F-16s and Half of Europe. These missiles could potentially include the Iskander-1000, first revealed in May 2024 through a video commemorating the 78th anniversary of the Kapustin Yar missile test site. According to Russian sources, these missiles could be deployed in Kaliningrad or the Smolensk region, allowing Russia to potentially target almost half of the European countries, as well as naval assets in the Baltic Sea.

Well well well if it isn't the consequences of pulling out of the INF treaty coming to knock on NATO's door.

I would have liked to have seen some sort of breakaway system in case of interception where the warhead since it is its own system could break away prior to the strike but the hot section could still draw the interceptor to itself and the actual missile could break away and then ignite into flight after it falls away and into a safe zone.

It would result in having two set up multiple targets in case of interception as it may not have the range to get to the initial one, but it could be reorientated to go after what shot it down.
