Installing BookStack on a Fresh Ubuntu 20.04 Server with HTTPS

In this video we install BookStack on a fresh Ubuntu 20.04 VPS instance, creating the Linode instance from scratch, then add HTTPS support on our instance using Certbot.

How do you guys manage the backups? Do you create backups for the database or for all the vps?

Unfortunately, this does not help. I have Ubuntu 20.04. running, with Apache and MySQL already running, PHP is also there. I would like to ADD BookStack to the existing website/setup without destroying anything. How would I do that? I would love a step-by-step install instruction video for non-fresh machines.

hello, when i try to connect to the web interface, i receive a http 500 error. in the apache error log it says that the file could not be found. The path does actually not exist. what should I do?

My Bookstack does not have the .env file. And i dont know how to get it.

Hi, i'm trying this on AWS ubuntu 20.04 and have got to the bit for editing the .env file for https, but the .env is unwriteable, any ideas?

hey Dan, thanks for great tutorials, I want to ask if it is possible to export bookstack from my Pc to another one or many other pc, soo to make one setup and than use that to other Pc, thanks!
