I know Android 11 is out but it’s still fairly new and there’s more bugs on it. For this video I chose to do Android 10 to help others install a more stable functioning OS on their switch. Do not do this tutorial with android 11, the process is different.

I will be creating an Android 11 video next week if you guys are interested in that instead.

Great tutorial! Worked perfect. Only thing is, after doing this its messed with my date. Both Switch and Hekate have the correct date setup but when I play certain games like Big Brain Academy it thinks I'm 52 when I set my birthday to 1994. I've heard there are fixes with something called QuickNtp and Tesla. Maybe a tutorial on that next would be sick!

did everything up to 6:16, my switch is just hanging at the screen before the android flasher, did i miss some secret step?

Heres a long shot if anyone runs into this and answers it

When the switch goes to sleep, or i press the power button to put it to sleep, while its running android it goes black screen and locks up. I have to hold the power button for about 30secs and then push hekate again.

It doesnt do that if im in emmunand

Also my apps crash for some reason

6:02 so at this step I get the message "Kernel image not found, Recovery image not found, DTB image not found" and the partition doesn't continue.

I've tried different ways of unzipping the icosa file but so far none are working. I'm using a Mac for this so don't know if that's a cause. Any ideas?

Edit: I ended up using a different SD card and borrowed a windows laptop, got it working now!
