IN YOUR HANDS - Advice to Filmmakers

Woke up on New Years Day, 2013 and decided that I would 100% make my next feature film during the summer of 2013! However, I decided to put together this film as a sort of inspiration to myself. I went on to make a no budget documentary called 'The Irish Pub' that summer, which was released in cinemas internationally. I followed it up with another documentary, Older Than Ireland (2015), which was also released internationally. Hope this film and the directors featured can also be inspiration to you. Alex

This is one one of my favorite YouTube videos! Please make a part 2! There are lots of other filmmakers with more great advice like Brad Bird, Gareth Evans, George Lucas, John Woo, etc. Great video and advice, this is very inspiring.
My advice to anybody is on your computer, have a folder that's labeled "Movie Inspiration". So when you have writer's block or you can't think of something to help you move forward as a film-maker; you can have this folder. Put some of your favorite movie scenes in there, or an interview of your favorite actor/director, and even a video like this that helps you get inspired.
