Caling paleontologists “dataminers” is one of the funniest one liners in this entire series.

Alternate title: "Lions getting bodied for 8 minutes"

Great stuff as always, man! Thanks for the fantastic content year in and out!

As someone who didn’t expect the explanation to be in game form, I watched the whole video and understood everything better than any National Geographic documentary I’ve seen, great work!

I could see the rhino's horn being more viable if it didn't come with the Poacher Lure debuff :(

Horns aren't just for defense and the mating quest. They also help with stamina as they contain blood vessels which help regulate body temperature.

I still can't believe how deep they went into the details when creating the lore to flesh out the game

Tips for starters, unless you are playing hard mode, I highly suggest using a male build for deers or lions, the def and power buffs are insane.

Can you talk about tail weapons? Why were they so prevalent in the past, but so rare now? What would happen if a large build specced into a tail weapon on a server like Africa? How would that effect the meta?

I know I can always count on TierZoo to give me the best strategies to the ever changing meta

From the COD Music to references to team killing and the sound effects on impact, the editing in this video is genuinely so funny and entertaining

Now that ive watched a lot of tierzoo, i think im going to go for a smaller yet more agile and high toxicity playthrough next run, not because its good but it sounds fun

I'm surprised you didn't mention beetles, which added horns to their game plan long before tetrapods did.

That rhino attack on the warthog looked absolutely brutal. I respect that rhino's authority!

Another major downside to equipping horns is the attention you'll get from certain members and factions amongst the Human player base and has driven some builds to total or near extinction because of the high greed value that Ivory horns and tusks possess. The Northern White Rhino build is the most recent victims as there player base has gone down to the single digits and no longer have the option to mate as there numbers are so low and there are only males(I belive it was males) left.

I’ve considered doing a tank build on my next playthrough, and horns were always something that I wanted to try. Thanks for the strategy tips. What would be a good race to go with? Maybe a rhinoceros? With their high constitution, thick skin trait and knockback effect on their horn attack, I feel like it would be a pretty ideal build. Not to mention the herbavore trait means that not only do I get basically free XP from all the plants I’ll be eating, but also that combat is solely for defense. I’m off to start my new playthrough! Wish me luck guys!

i would love to see a video theorizing about “hacked” builds like the jackalope and other strange hybrids.

I was surprised you didn't also discuss tusk users in this video. Longer tusks arguably share many similarities in utility as horns and antlers, with the added benefit of giving a boost to digging and xp collection for some builds.

1:41 "You need your horns to survive. I grow giant horns out of my head every year just to flex. We are not the same" damn that moose just roasted him.
