You say 80s vibe like it’s a bad thing 😂😂 If you button or pop the collar, I think it’s not overwhelming. But I kinda like the drama. I’ve always liked how long coats are on me, it’s warmer. Pretty Liberty scarf! The grown up mitten string is hilarious!

I have a navy Manuela and I love mine. For your frame, I'd suggest the Lilia cashmere coat. Ludmilla, or as previously known as Labbro would be just overwhelming for you. The sleeves are even wider than Manuela and there is a lot more of fabric to wrap around your body.

I too am 5’1” and have given up on regular size coats. They all end up looking too big. I only buy petite sized now but that limits available brands. Anne Klein, Michael Kors and Ralph Lauren are good designer options. I have not found any luxury coats in petite sizes yet. The search continues!

I just bought my second Manuela- this one in black. I can't wait for it to arrive. Both of mine are size 2 but im 5 inches taller than you - I think that size 2 is just too big for you. They do have a 0 (34?). Probably a better fit for you.

I just got size 2 in this coat and the shoulder fits but sleeves is like yours, so long it covers whole hand. Should I exchange to 0 ? It does not bother folding the sleeve ?

The more I look at your review, your size is 0. However, any coat looks better when it is large and over sized looking.

Things such a classic. I was shopping so many coats. There is nothing beats Max Mara Manuela. Seriously. It is so unique and not comparable with other coats.

Hi there! I actually have the same coat and size but am a little taller. I would def let this one go but would you consider 1 size smaller? I think they have a size 0. That might help work out some of your concerns with the coat and give it a more imo feminine, fitted feel.
