I don’t mind hurricane season I can always make a missed port on another cruise. I’m just happy cruising don’t care where I go as long as I am on the ship.

Another time NOT to cruise: Spring Break. While some people may enjoy the vibe on a spring break cruise, it is not for those looking to relax quietly on a ship.

I like the JASON months reference. I always have to look up the hurricane season

I love drama so I'm actually kind of excited about the cruise I have booked this year leaving at literally the peak of hurricane season. If everything goes as planned, I'm sure we'll have a great trip. And if it gets all messed up and we have to shift ports or skip ports or whatever, it will just make for fun stories. Either way, it's going to be awesome.

Hello,
I have always cruised in the month of Sep. Love it for two reasons: 1- For the most part all kids are in school. 2- Less crowds, never had any problems, but there is a first time LOL....

Jenny and Tony, another good video. My ex wife and I took her family on a cruise over spring break. Ughh. Although it is difficult to have a bad time on a cruise, there were many things such as kids up late, crazy amount of people at the pool, and the worst service at dinner that rated this cruise at the bottom of my cruises.

We've always cruised in July with no problems. Even this past July with a hurricane bearing down in the Lesser Antilles-it didn't even go near the Bahamas where we were going.and was downgraded as it went over the Lesser Antilles. So far July is golden for us. We are planning a December Christmas cruise for 2019 so hopefully we aren't going in rainy season

Didn't think there could ever be a list of when not to cruise lol. I was wrong. Only happy to be wrong when Tony and Jenny prove me wrong 😎

Awww. You two are so cute. You were much calmer four years ago. Good info. Im feeling bad for those on the Panorama also right now who were caught in the hurricane and have to miss ports. I learned about the pregnancy on from Griff and Alyssa, and the rest are kinda common sense but most of us don’t have any sense. Ha. Thanks again. Love watching your old videos. 👍💕

I always cruise during the JASON months. You get the best deals during that time.... Woohoo!

the JASON months really only applies in certain locales... we went on our first cruise in Oct 2016, and hurricane Matthew decided to visit, it meant we went to San Juan instead of Coco Cay... didn't take away from the fun experience we had...
Going on our next cruise in 68 days... another JASON month and we are so excited

I had gotten sick the 5 th day of a 10 day cruise! ( Tahiti to Hawaii)
I was quarantine to my room for 2 days 😳.
Luckily it was our 25 th wedding anniversary cruise so we had booked a Balcony! Soooo I will never cruise without a balcony again!😉 ( no inside cabin EVER)

I would say, that cruising during hurricane season is just fine... as long as you stay clear of the Caribbean... go see Alaska or Northern Europe!

I actually want to take my first transatlantic crossing in July then do my second in December. I actually want to experience some turbulent sea weather!

Got one booked November 30th. I don't care about the ports. Been to the Bahamas many times. 😁

We actually prefer to cruise during hurricane season. On our second cruise, we were redirected to Grand Turk. We loved it there. Returned there quite a few times. If we hadn’t been redirected, we may not have ever gone there. The ship will always be directed around a storm. Also, prices during hurricane season are reduced. You will save hundreds of dollars.
The times that we will not cruise is when school is out: summer vacation, spring break, Christmas vacation. Again, prices are much higher when kids are going with parents.
